Is AIM’s Bachelor European?

It is important to dispel a misunderstanding regarding the attribution of a “European” designation for Bachelor’s and other academic degrees and diplomas that is quite commonly practiced by certain schools without any discernment.

However; the French National Authority for Certifications, the CNCP, draws attention on its website to the fact that  
« … until today, no European authority can prevail to deliver a diploma, certificate, or any other academic title on behalf of Europe”! (read the entire text) :

Existe-t-il des diplômes européens ?

Réponse :
Au niveau des diplômes, un principe s'est établi dès le départ : celui de la subsidiarité des pays.  C'est ainsi qu'à ce jour, aucune autorité européenne ne peut se prévaloir de délivrer un diplôme, un certificat ou un titre au nom de l'Europe.  Toutefois, certaines organisations tendent de plus en plus à se diriger vers la construction de références au niveau de l'ensemble ou d'une partie des pays constitutifs de l'Europe.  En revanche, tout est fait pour favoriser la reconnaissance des certifications nationales d'un pays à l'autre et on peut dire que cette préoccupation reste encore d'actualité quarante ans après la mise en place de la Communauté.
