Internships

AIM's close collaboration with leading international hotel chains and other world-class establishments provides a highly effective means for preparing students for entry into active professional life.

Students having successfully accomplished their Preparatory year start a seven to eight months management training program in an international hotel in France or the world over.

They start with primarily a Front Office/ Rooms and Restaurant Departments work program emphasizing interfacing with the clientele.

Subsequently they continue in the Back Office, providing them the application of their theoretical, technical and practical knowledge at the general administration level.
During their training, they focus on the quality of the services, and participate actively in the daily managerial activities of the departments of finance, accounting, purchasing, marketing, and human resources.

At the end of their second year studies, students are encouraged by the School Administration to have their job immediately instead of starting an internship scheduled until the end of September. Consequently, it is common that a trial period in a company for an international career substitutes this last internship.
