Optional Trainings Cornell University classes via eCornell with exclusive discounts by AIM

The Managing Director/ Founder of AIM (also life time member of Cornell Hotel Society)
and the AIM On-line Studies Department
are happy to share Cornell University’s distance learning courses with AIM students.

SOME HISTORY

In 1992, when the members of the AIM team, all hospitality professionals, and also from Cornell’s Master program, opened the school, the only program recognized in France for the Baccalauréat (High-School Diploma) graduates was the BTS Hôtellerie. The subjects taught were limited to cooking, room service, reception desk, and housekeeping procedures, including some bookkeeping.

After the launch of the innovative AIM program, inspired particularly by that of Cornell Hotel School, with the Bachelor title*, almost all private establishments in France and in Europe, including Switzerland (about 4 years later, after AIM), added “Bachelor” to their schools.
Did they all adopt the content of the program it covered? That’s another question!

*AIM is the very first institution in Europe (EU) to offer the title Bachelor to its students.

Yours sincerely,

Whitney HILL
Director

AT THE PRESENT TIME

At AIM, students always benefit from an education, validated, among others, by the professional certifications of the American Hotel organization AHLEI, which facilitates in obtaining management positions, in particular, in palaces and large international hotels.

List of titles recommended by AIM

For your information :

AIM students, once the training has been completed with certification within the timeframe set by e-Cornell (and during the AIM academic year), benefit from a grant of €200 per academic year limited to two certifications per year, which cannot be combined from one year to the next.

Nota bene :

  • These courses are completely independent from AIM.
  • eCornell alone decides on them and their prices.
  • Any change by eCornell could alter, or even cancel  AIM’s offer.
